Before I went here, I thought this would be scary to communicate to the local New Zealand people. And the first few days I came here, I did not very get along with my homestay family and my school buddies. But my home Dad asked me a lot of questions of Taiwan and my family. I think that is because he is really interested in the life in Taiwan. When I told them I have to go to school at seven o'clock in the morning, and have to go to cram school after school and on Sunday. They were very surprise, because the educational system here is so free that they can not even think about how the life like that would be. So I had a lot of spare time when I am in New Zealand, my homestay family took me to see the Harbour Bridge, the Sky Tower and one of the valcanoes. Then I knew that my home Dad lived in Aukland when he was young. We also went to play the ten-pin bowling, that was the first time I play it. Although I played badly, it is still quite fun.
My home brother always invites me to watch some movies, although they are in English so I couldn't quite understand what they are talking about, but it was still interesting. Then I recognized more friends at school, they liked to play basketball. Though they played it roughly still is very fun. I also learned lots of Moari's culture, like the clothes and their language. I know that the official clothes of tghe Moari is Korowai, they wear it for celebrate and when someone die. And after I got along with the people here I found out that they were all kind and friendly.
Hope I can come to New Zealand again, and hope the friends in New Zealand can come to Taiwan.
